Hello, my name is Ricky Apuzzo III, owner and founder of Atmospherz.com. I got my start in the web design and development industry in 2007 when my family needed help with their business's website skyeyeweather.com. After my initial work with Skyeye Weather, my interest in programming grew. From simple HTML and CSS, to XML, Flash, and PHP, my knowledge and drive to learn more grew with every website and application I've worked with.
Shortly after my introduction to the PHP programming language I discovered my first content management system. I've worked with a few different systems, from Joomla, to Wordpress, but my favorite and preferred is ExpressionEngine. Content management systems are very cool but not the driving force behind what I do. No, the reason I design and develop websites is because my love to bring new and exciting ideas to life. Nothing invigorates me more than the idea of hundreds of millions of people getting to use and enjoy the applications I make. Web design and development can be extremely challenging but that's what makes it all the more exciting and fun when the project is launched.
